It was followed by "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire," the latest installment in the MonsterVerse film franchise, with a daily earning of 26.67 million yuan. The animated film "Kung Fu Panda 4" stayed in third place, generating 8.06 million yuan in box office revenue on the day.
